Hotel Gasthof Kagoshima, Kagoshima

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were a bit small with outdated Bavarian decoration, making them feel cramped, the staff was incredibly polite and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the main Kagoshima train station, but the cramped indoor space was not ideal for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is nestled in a vibrant district full of restaurants and bars, but the heavy wooden decor in the rooms can make them feel even smaller, especially the triple room.

The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, although there seemed to be some limitations due to hotel policies.
